Our hands are expressive and reveal our most inner thoughts i.e. when we speak, when we meet people, shake hands and for sign language; our logo was designed with these ideas in mind:
- The image of the child’s hand placed on top of the adult hand, inside the circle symbolises trust, safety and security;
- The Aqua or Turquoise colour used in the word “Hand” means nurturing and emotional balance;
- The Green used in the word “UP” is the colour of life and symbolises growth and renewal.
- The tagline: “Creating safer communities” is a phrase that fits with the explanation of our logo;
